Objective: To evaluate the effect of anesthesia induction under parental company for children receiving general anesthesia. Methods: The RCT results were collected on children’s preoperative anxiety, anesthesia coordination, anesthesia and recovery agitation, postoperative pain and parental preoperative anxiety intervention with or without parental accompany using RevMan 5.3 software based on Chinese and English database. We searched Cochrane Library, Pubmed, Medline, EMbase, Sciencedirect, SpringerLink, China Biomedical, CNKI, Wanfang, Weipu and other databases, and included 15 articles (5 Chinese, 10 English) with 1390 samples size, containing 700 cases of control group and 690 cases of testing group. Results: Our results showed that parents’ and children’s anxiety level, the incidence of restlessness during anesthesia induction and wake-up period were reduced, while the anesthesia coordination was enhanced and the pain of children after wake-up was alleviated under parental accompany. Conclusion: The risk and cost-free intervention of parental accompany could be recommended as appropriate in hospitals for its contribution to children’s surgery effect. 展开更多

Serendipita indica(formerly known as Piriformospora indica),a root endophytic fungus,exhibits multiple functions in some agricultural,horticultural,and medicinal plant species.We studied colonization of the roots of Platycladus orientalis,a forest tree species,by S.indica to improve the quality of the seedlings in seedbeds and survival rates in sylviculture.At 20 days after inoculation,S.indica colonized the root cortex of P.orientalis seedlings.Root colonization by S.indica significantly increased net CO2 assimilation,light use efficiency,and biomass accumulation by both roots and shoots,whereas it did not affect the biomass allocation between roots and shoots.In addition,the symbiosis significantly increased root total length,surface area,and volume.In view of the two specific traits of S.indica,i.e.,axenic culture and wide colonization in plants,the fungus might be used for improving quality of P.orientalis seedlings and increasing their survival after transplanting. 展开更多

The Brugada syndrome is a form of cardiac arrhythmia, characterized by electrocardiographic ST-Segment elevation in right precordial leads that affect young male patient, predisposing to malignant ventricular arrhythmia and sudden cardiac deaths. The majority of the patients with Brugada syndrome remain asymptomatic, however, patient can present with symptom like syncope, palpitation and aborted sudden cardiac death. Several pathogenic genes have been identified as associated with the disease but SCN5A is most prevalent one. The Brugada syndrome is diagnosed by typically cove shaped ST-segment elevation of >2 mm in greater than one precordial lead V1 and V2, occurring spontaneously or after provocative drugs test with IV administration of class 1 antiarrhythmic drug such flecainide or Ajmaline. Risk stratification and the need for treatment depend on the patient symptom, electrocardiography, family history and electrophysiological study. The treatment by implantable cardioverter defibrillators, the only effective treatment to date is appropriate. Other treatment options included pharmacological therapy (Quinidine) and Radiofrequency ablation of ventricular ectopies. This brief review focuses on epidemiology of Brugada syndrome, Genetic basis, mechanism, clinical presentation, ECG changes, risk stratification, Diagnostic criteria and management. 展开更多

The diagnosis is based on echocardiography demonstration of spongy myocardium. Here we report a case of 74 years old female patient diagnosed as an isolated left ventricular non-compaction with congestive heart failure, intramural thrombus and hypertension. There is no specific treatment for LVNC;therapeutic measures are directed towards the patient’s symptom (heart failure, arrhythmia and thrombotic events) and consideration of an implantable cardioverter defibrillator and cardiac transplantation. 展开更多

Sesquiterpanes are ubiquitous components of crude oils and ancient sediments.Liquid saturated hydrocarbons from simulated pyrolysis experiments on immature organic-rich mudstone collected from the Lower Cretaceous Hesigewula Sag were analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS).C14 bicyclic sesquiterpanes,namely,8β(H)-drimane,8β(H)-homodrimane,and 8 a(H)-homodrimane were detected and identified on basis of their diagnostic fragment ions(m/z123,179,193,and 207),and previously published mass spectra data,and these bicyclic sesquiterpanes presented relatively regular characteristics in their thermal evolution.The ratios 8β(H)-drimane/8β(H)-homodrimane,8β(H)-homodrimane/8 a(H)-homodrimane,and 8β(H)-drimane/8 a(H)-homodrimane all show a clear upward trend with increasing temperature below the temperature turning point.Thus,all these ratios can be used as evolution indexes of source rocks in the immature-lowmaturity stage.However,the last two ratios may be more suitable than the first ratio as valid parameters for measuring the extent of thermal evolution of organic matter in the immature-low-maturity stage because their change amplitude with increasing temperature is more obvious. 展开更多

Hypertension is the most common modifiable risk factor for death and disability including stroke, accelerated coronary and systemic atherosclerosis, heart failure, chronic kidney disease, lowering the BP with antihypertensive drugs, and reducing the target organ damage and prevalence of the occurrence of cardiovascular disease. According to the 2017 American college of cardiology (ACC)/American heart association (AHA) hypertension guidelines hypertension is defined as systolic BP is ≥130 mmHg or diastolic BP is ≥80 mmHg. BP should be lower than 130/80 mmHg in patient with CHD, CHF, after renal transplantation, diabetes mellitus and stroke. Recommended lifestyle modification included restriction of dietary sodium intake, weight loss if patient is overweight, regular exercise, moderate alcohol intake and increase consumption of potassium rich foods. The initial antihypertensive agent should be generally selected from one of the following four classes—thiazide diuretics, ACE inhibitors, ARBs, and calcium channel blockers, shown to reduce cardiovascular events. There are two interventional approaches—Renal Denervation and Baroreflex activation therapy, which are used in clinical practice for treatment of several treatment resistant hypertensions. Other interventional approaches are carotid body ablation and AVF placement but none of them prevent cardiovascular disease outcome or death in hypertensive patient. 展开更多

A Bayesian Inference Approach to Reduce Uncertainty in Magnetotelluric Inversion: A Synthetic Case Study 预览

The deterministic geophysical inversion methods are dominant when inverting magnetotelluric data whereby its results largely depends on the assumed initial model and only a single representative solution is obtained. A common problem to this approach is that all inversion techniques suffer from non-uniqueness since all model solutions are subjected to errors, under-determination and uncertainty. A statistical approach in nature is a possible solution to this problem as it can provide extensive information about unknown parameters. In this paper, we developed a 1D Bayesian inversion code based Metropolis-Hastings algorithm whereby the uncertainty of the earth model parameters were quantified by examining the posterior model distribution. As a test, we applied the inversion algorithm to synthetic model data obtained from available literature based on a three layer model (K, H, A and Q). The frequency for the magnetotelluric impedance data was generated from 0.01 to 100 Hz. A 5% Gaussian noise was added at each frequency in order to simulate errors to the synthetic results. The developed algorithm has been successfully applied to all types of models and results obtained have demonstrated a good compatibility with the initial synthetic model data. 展开更多

Specifically, we consider the balance between utility and privacy level of released data and improve the precision of top-k based on post-processing. We show that our algorithm can achieve differential privacy over streaming data collected and published periodically by server provider. We evaluate our algorithm with three real datasets, and the experimental results show that the precision of our method reaches 85% with strong privacy protection, which outperforms the Kalman filter-based existing methods. 展开更多

This scheme can encrypt two bits one time and improve the efficiency of retrieval. Moreover, it has small key space and reduces the storage space. Meanwhile, the homomorphic property of this scheme was proved in detail. The experimental results and comparisons show that the proposed scheme is characterized by increased security, high efficiency and low cost. 展开更多

Detailed petrographic,geochemical(O-C-Sr isotopes)and fluid inclusion studies of the deeply buried Cambrian carbonates in the West-central Tarim Basin revealed three types of crystalline dolomites(fine-crystalline,nonplanar-a(s),dolomite(RD1),fine-to medium-crystalline,planar-e(s)dolomite(RD2),and medium-to coarse-crystalline,nonplanar-a dolomite(RD3)),medium-to coarsecrystalline,nonplanar-a saddle dolomite cement(CD)and early and later-stage calcite cement.The occurrence of RD1 along low-amplitude stylolites points to link with pressure dissolution by which minor Mg ions were likely released for replacive dolomitization during early-to intermediate-burial seawater dolomitization.The increasing crystal sizes of RD2 and RD3 with irregular overgrowth rims suggests intense recrystallization and replacement upon the RD1 or remaining precursor limestones by dolomitizing fluids during late intermediate burial dolomitization.The overlap ofδ18O,δ13C and 87Sr/86Sr values of RD1-RD3 and CD dolomite with coeval seawater values,suggests that the principal dolomitizing fluids that precipitated these dolomites was connate(Cambrian)seawater preserved in the host limestones/dolomites.Their high 87Sr/86Sr ratios suggest influx of radiogenic strontium into the Cambrian seawater.Two regimes of fluid flow are recognized in the study area:firstly,influx of magnesium-rich higher-temperature basinal brines along deep-seated faults/fractures,resulting in cementation by CD dolomite.Secondly,the incursion of meteoric waters,mixing with ascending highertemperature basinal brines,and an increase in Ca2+/Mg2+ratio in the fluids probably results in the precipitation of calcite cement in vugs and fractures. 展开更多

Citrus canker, caused by Xanthomonas axonopo-dis pv. citri ('Xac'), is an important quarantine disease in citrus crops. Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) form symbiotic interactions with host plants and further affect their disease resistance, possibly by modulating the activity of salicylic acid (SA), a key phytohormone in disease resistance. Common mycorrhizal networks (CMNs) can interconnect plants, but it is not yet clear whether CMNs promote resistance to citrus canker and, if so, whether SA signaling is involved in this process. To test this possibility, we used a two-chambered rootbox to establish CMNs between trifoliate orange (Poncirus trifoliata) seedlings in chambers inoculated (treated) or not (neighboring) with the AMF, Paraglomus occultum. A subset of the AMF-inoculated seedlings were also inoculated with Xac (+AMF+Xac). At 2 d post-inoculation (dpi), compared with the +AMF-Xac treatment, neighboring seedlings in +AMF+Xac treatment had lower expression levels of the SA biosynthetic genes, PtPAL, PtEPS1,&nbsp;and PtPBS3, but higher SA levels, which attributed to the upregulation of PtPAL and PtPBS3 in treated seedlings and the transfer of SA, via CMNs, to the neighboring seedlings. At 4 dpi, the pathogenesis-related (PR) protein genes, PtPR1, PtPR4, and PtPR5, and the transcriptional regulatory factor gene, PtNPR1, were activated in neighboring seedlings of+AMF+Xac treatment. At 9 dpi, root phenylalanine ammo-nia-lyase activity and total soluble phenol and lignin concentrations increased in neighboring seedlings of+AMF+Xac treatment, likely due to the linkage and signal transfer, via CMNs. These findings support the hypothesis that CMNs transfer the SA signal from infected to neighboring healthy seedlings, to activate defense responses and affording protection to neighboring plants against citrus canker infection. 展开更多

Extractive distillation(ED) is one of the most promising approaches for the separation of the azeotropic or closeboiling mixtures in the chemical industry. The purpose of this paper is to provide a broad overview of the recent development of key aspects in the ED process involving conceptual design, solvent selection, and separation strategies. To obtain the minimum entrainer feed flow rate and reflux ratio for the ED process, the conceptual design of azeotropic mixture separation based on a topological analysis via thermodynamic feasibility insights involving residue curve maps, univolatility lines, and unidistribution curves is presented. The method is applicable to arbitrary multicomponent mixtures and allows direct screening of design alternatives. The determination of a suitable solvent is one of the key steps to ensure an effective and economical ED process. Candidate entrainers can be obtained from heuristics or literature studies while computer aided molecular design(CAMD) has superiority in efficiency and reliability. To achieve optimized extractive distillation systems, a brief review of evaluation method for both entrainer design and selection through CAMD is presented. Extractive distillation can be operated either in continuous extractive distillation(CED) or batch extractive distillation(BED), and both modes have been well-studied depending on the advantages in flexibility and low capital costs. To improve the energy efficiency, several configurations and technological alternatives can be used for both CED and BED depending on strategies and main azeotropic feeds. The challenge and chance of the further ED development involving screening the best potential solvents and exploring the energy-intensive separation strategies are discussed aiming at promoting the industrial application of this environmentally friendly separation technique. 展开更多

With global warming, rice plants may be subjected to heat stress more regularly during the heatsensitive flowering stage, causing spikelet sterility and grain yield loss.Stigma exsertion is considered to increase pollen reception and promote female reproductive success.The aim of this study was to investigate the role of stigma exsertion on spikelet fertility at high temperatures.Five rice cultivars(Liangyoupeijiu, Shanyou 63, Huanghuazhan, Nagina 22, and IR64) with differing degrees of stigma exsertion were cultivated and exposed to high temperature at anthesis.Heat-tolerant cultivars did not always show a high percentage of spikelets with exserted stigmas, and vice versa.Irrespective of the presence of more pollen grains on exserted stigmas, spikelets with exserted stigmas did not show greater spikelet fertility than spikelets with fewer exserted stigmas or hidden stigmas under heat stress.GA3 application augmented the percentage of spikelets with exserted stigmas;however, it did not increase spikelet fertility under heat stress.Spikelet fertility of whole panicles was negatively correlated with the percentage of spikelets with exserted stigmas, but positively with that with hidden stigmas.Viability of the hidden stigmas was less reduced than that of exserted stigmas under heat stress, suggesting that hidden stigmas have an advantage in maintaining viability.Heat stress delayed anther dehiscence and reduced the viabilities of both exserted stigmas and pollens, thereby causing low spikelet fertility.Together, these results suggest that high spikelet fertility does not depend on stigma exsertion and that enclosed stigma generally contributes to higher spikelet fertility and heat tolerance under high-temperature conditions during flowering in rice. 展开更多

The development of shale gas reservoir is mainly based on horizontal well production.Slug flow of gas-liquid two-phase is invariably encountered in inclined wells and horizontal wells of a producing environment.Due to gravitational differentiation,oil-water two-phase flow pattern,the local velocity and local phase holdup along the radial direction of pipe in near horizontal wells will perform complicatedly.This paper presented the results of an experimental study and a theoretical analysis of two-phase gas/water flow in horizontal and highly inclined systems.Extensive experiments were conducted using a test loop made of 124 mm diameter acrylic pipe with inclination angles from the horizontal of 0°,5°,15°,45°,°2°,°5°and°10°,and with the total flow rate ranging from 50 to 800 m3/day.Based on the research on the law of slug flow dynamics model for gas-water two-phase flow in near horizontal pipeline,the theoretical analysis and experimental researches were done to propose the expressions of stable and exact production logging interpretation model for two-phase flow in near horizontal pipeline.The performance of the proposed method for estimating water holdup and water superficial velocity is in good agreement with our measurements.As a result,the slug flow dynamics model of gas-water two-phase flow in near horizontal wellbore was developed.The application effect of production logging in near horizontal wells had been improved. 展开更多

In order to achieve image encryption and data embedding simultaneously, a reversible data hiding(RDH) algorithm for encrypted-compressed image in wavelet domain is proposed. This scheme employs the quality controllable parameter. Moreover it has larger embedding capacity and smaller quality control parameters than other methods in literatures. Meanwhile, the cross chaotic map is employed to generate chaotic sequences, and the total keys of the algorithm is far large. Experimental results and comparisons show that the proposed scheme has large capacity, high security, and strong resistance to brute-force. 展开更多

Gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) represents the most common kind of mesenchymal tumor that arises from the alimentary tract. Tumors arising from the first and the second part of the duodenum (DI and DII, respectively) can be wrongly diagnosed as pancreatic mass. We report a case of a 58-year-old male patient with the history of vomiting just after eating, loss of appetite, lethargic and weight loss for 25 days. CT scan of abdomen and pelvis showed a soft tissue mass with slight heterogeneous enhancement at the region of the uncinate process of the head of pancreas and (MPR) on CT enhanced showed the closely attached mass to the head of the pancreas. On operative exploration, the mass was found to be originated from duodenum. Then, surgical resection of the duodenal tumor was performed by wedge resection successfully. Postoperative laboratory diagnosis was “low risk” duodenal gastrointestinal stromal tumor. 展开更多
