A cerium film was prepared on the surface of rebar by chemical conversion method to enhance its corrosion resistance.The film in the simulated concrete pore solution was measured by electrochemical method,transmission electron microscope(TEM)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The effect of temperature on film formation was studied,and the optimum temperature was determined at 35℃.The film produced by too high formation temperature has more defects,resulting in the lower corrosion resistance.The Ce film resistance increased with time evolution until 800 h,then decreased and stabilized.The Ce film layer has a double-layer film structure,the upper layer is an oxide of cerium,and the underlayer is an oxide of iron.Results revealed that after being immersed in the simulated concrete pore solution,the corrosion resistance of the Ce film was enhanced by self-densification. 展开更多

Photolithography and metal lift-off technique were used for processing of the MIM capacitors. Semiconductor Analyzer with probe station was used to perform capacitance-voltage (C-V) characterization with low-medium frequency range. Current-voltage (I-V) characteristics of MIM capacitors were measured on precision source/measurement system. Broadband light sources emitting in the terahertz spectral range are highly desired for applications such as noninvasive imaging and spectroscopy.Conventionally,THz pulses are generated by optical rectification in bulk nonlinear crystals with millimetre thickness,with the bandwidth limited by the phase-matching condition.Here we demonstrate broadband THz emission via surface optical rectification from a simple,commercially available 19nmthick indium tin oxide(ITO)thin film.We show an enhancement of the generated THz signal when the pump laser is tuned around the epsilon-near-zero(ENZ)region of ITO due to the pump laser field enhancement associated with the ENZ effect.The bandwidth of the THz signal generated from the ITO film can be over 3 THz,unrestricted by the phasematching condition.This work offers a new possibility for broadband THz generation in a subwavelength thin film made of an ENZ material,with emerging physics not found in existing nonlinear crystals. 展开更多

The rapid development of portable and wearable electronics has called for novel flexible electrodes with superior performance.The development of flexible electrode materials with excellent mechanical and electrochemical properties has become one of the key factors for this goal.Here,a Ni_(x)Co_(y)-silicate@CNTs film is developed as a flexible anode for lithium ion batteries(LIBs).On this film,Ni_(x)Co_(y)-silicate nanosheets are firmly and intimately anchored on the surface of CNTs,which have a 3D network structure and link the adjacent nanosheets together.Benefitted from this,the composite film is not only sufficient to withstand various deformations due to its excellent flexibility but also has excellent electrochemical properties,in terms of high reversible capacity of 1047 mAh g^(-1) at 0.1 A g^(-1) as well as a high rate and cycling performance(capacity retention up to 78.13% after 140 cycles).The pouch-type full flexible LIB using this material can stably operate under various bending conditions,showing the great potential of this 3 D Ni_(x)Co_(y)-silicate@CNTs film for flexible energy storage devices with high durability. 展开更多

Homogeneous NaBH_(4)-reduced Co_(O)_(4) thin film electrodes with enhanced oxygen evolution electrocatalysis were obtained via a controlled-synthesis route.Firstly CoOx colloids were synthesized via ethylene glycol solvothermal method and cast on conductive glass substrates.The oxygen evolution reaction(OER) electrocatalysis of these asprepared CO_(3)O_(4) thin films were then significantly enhanced via a simple surface reduction by NaBH_(4) solution.The OER catalytic performance of the NaBH_(4)-reduced thin films was strongly dependent on the NaBH_(4) concentration.The use of NaBH_(4)-reduced thin film electrodes for OER in alkaline solution supported higher current density and consequently negative shifts of the onset potential compared to that of the pristine.The optimal B_(12.5,20)-CO_(3)O_(4) thin films exhibited excellent OER catalytic performances:At the current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2),a low overpotential of 365 mV and a small Tafel slope of 59.0 mV·dec^(-1) were observed.In addition,these B_(12.5,20)-CO_(3)O_(4) thin film electrodes possessed good stability that can well recover its OER performance in a 24-h chronoamperometric stability test. 展开更多

In the present investigation,a microbial consortium consisting of four bacterial strains was selected for the treatment of pharmaceutical industry wa stewater.The consortium was immobilized on a natural support matrixLuffa and used for the treatment of real-time pharmaceutical wastewater in batch and continuous processes.The batch process was carried out to optimize the culture conditions and monitor the enzymatic activity.An array of enzymes such as alcohol dehydrogenase,aldehyde dehydrogenase,monooxygenase,catechol 2,3-dioxygenase and hydroquinol 1,2-dioxygenase were produced by the consortium.The kinetics of the degradation in the batch process was analyzed and it was noted to be a first-order reaction.For the continuous study,an aerobic fixed-film bioreactor(AFFBR) was utilized for a period of 61 days with variable hydraulic retention time(HRT) and organic loading rate(OLR).The immobilized microbes treated the wastewater by reducing the COD,phenolic contaminants and suspended solids.The OLR ranged between(0.56±0.05) kg COD·m^(-3) d^(-1) to 3.35 kg COD·m^(-3)·d^(-1) and the system achieved an average reduction of 96.8% of COD,92.6% of phenolic compounds and 95.2% of suspended solids.Kinetics of the continuous process was interpreted by three different models,where the modified Stover Kincannon model and the Grau second-order model proved to be best fit for the degradation reaction with the constant for saturation value,k_(L) being 95.12 g·L^(-1)·d^(-1).the constant for maximum utilization of the substrate U_(max) being 90.01 g·L^(-1) d^(-1) and substrate removal constant KY was1.074 d^(-1) for both the models.GC-MS analysis confirmed that most of the organic contaminants were degraded into innocuous metabolite s. 展开更多

Water-evaporation-induced electricity generation shows great application prospect due to the volt-level voltage induced by natural water evaporation in ambient environment.Increasing investigations have been conducted on water-evaporation-induced electricity in different materials,surface treatments,working mechanisms and wide ranges of practical applications.However,to further enhance the electricity output remains a great challenge.In this study,we fabricated porous carbon black films with isosceles trapezoid shapes to generate water-evaporation-induced electricity,in contrast with the widely used rectangle samples.We found that an isosceles trapezoid film produces two different voltages by inversing the film,because of different flow rates and capillary heights after inversion.The ratio of these voltages varies with the length of longer base when lengths of shorter base and heights are fixed,and the maximum ratio can reach 1.77:1 in our study.This work shows the importance of geometry design in improving the output voltage. 展开更多

A doublely-doped layered double hydroxide(LDH)film was produced on an anodized magnesium alloy AZ31.The Ce-doped Mg-Al LDH film was prepared by in-situ hydrothermal treatment method,and the intercalation of vanadate was realized by ion-exchange reaction.The structure,morphology and composition of as-prepared LDH film were investigated by X-ray diffractometer,field-emission scanning electronic microscope and energy dispersive spectrometry.Results indicated that a uniform and compact LDH film was formed and the intercalation of Ce^(3+)and vanadate would change the crystal structure of LDHs.The results of the potentiodynamic polarization,electrochemical impedance spectra,hydrogen evolution and corrosion weight loss tests showed the Ce^(3+)and vanadate anions significantly improve the impedance of LDH film,and the active double-doped LDH film could effectively protect the magnesium substrate from corrosion. 展开更多

Pitting corrosion of 2Cr13 stainless steel was investigated by deep-sea exposure test at various depths of 500 m,800 m and 1200 m in the South China Sea for 4 months.With the aid of electrochemical measurements in simulated deep-sea environments and grey relational analysis,the influence of deepsea environments on passive film and the mechanism of pitting corrosion were discussed.The results indicated that with the increase of sea depth,pitting depth of 2Cr13 stainless steel increased,which can be attributed to the change of chemical composition and the degradation of pitting resistance of passive film.Film growth was greatly retarded in the condition of low seawater temperature and low dissolved oxygen content of deep sea,resulting in an unstable and vulnerable film.Pitting depth was most influenced by hydrostatic pressure,which can increase the adsorption and penetration of Cl-ion,and promote the proliferation of point defects in passive film,leading to rapid deconstruction of protective oxides of the film.Pitting sensitivity of 2Cr13 stainless steel increased eventually with the combination of accelerated dissolution and suppressed self-healing of passive film in deep sea. 展开更多

2D MXene nanosheets with metallic conductivity and high pseudo-capacitance are promising electrode materials for supercapacitors.Especially,MXene films can be directly used as electrodes for flexible supercapacitors.H... 2D MXene nanosheets with metallic conductivity and high pseudo-capacitance are promising electrode materials for supercapacitors.Especially,MXene films can be directly used as electrodes for flexible supercapacitors.However,they suffer from sluggish ion transport due to self-restacking,causing limited electrochemical performance.Herein,a flexible 3D porous MXene film is fabricated by incorporating graphene oxide(GO) into MXene film followed by self-propagating reduction.The self-propagating process is facile and effective,which can be accomplished in 1.25 s and result in 3D porous framework by releasing substantial gas instantaneously.As the 3D porous structure provides massive ion-accessible active sites and promotes fast ion transport,the MXene-rGO films exhibit superior capacitance and rate performance.With the rGO content of 20%,the MXene-rGO-20 film delivers a high capacitance of 329.9 F g^(-1) at 5 mV s^(-1) in 3 M H2 SO4 electrolyte and remains 260.1 F g^(-1) at 1,000 mV s^(-1) as well as good flexibility.Furthermore,the initial capacitance is retained above 90% after 40,000 cycles at 100 A g^(-1),revealing good cycle stability.This work not only provides a high-performance flexible electrode for supercapacitors,but also proposes an efficient and time-saving strategy for constructing 3D structure from 2D materials. 展开更多

Recently developed lead-free double perovskite nanocrystals(NCs)have been proposed for the possible application in solutionprocessed optoelectronic devices.However,the optoelectronic applications of double perovskite NCs have been hampered due to the structural and chemical instability in the presence of polar molecules.Here,we report a facile strategy for the synthesis and purification of Cs_(2)AgBiBr_(6)double perovskite NCs that remained stable even after washing with polar solvent.This is realized with our efficient colloidal route to synthesize Cs_(2)AgBiBr_(6)NCs that involve stable and strongly coordinated precursor such as silvertrioctyl phosphine complex together with bismuth neodecanoate,which leads to a significantly improved chemical and colloidal stability.Using layer-by-layer solid-state ligand exchange technique,a compact and crack-free thin film of Cs_(2)AgBiBr_(6)NCs were fabricated.Finally,perovskite solar cells consisting of Cs_(2)AgBiBr_(6)as an absorber layer were fabricated and tested. 展开更多

Conventional squeeze film dampers have numerous challenges including lock up,bistable response and incoordinate precession.In order to resolve these nonlinear problems,a novel G-type integral squeeze film damper(GISFD)is proposed in this research.The experimental test rig is provided to investigate the rotor system with an unbalanced single disk.Numerical simulation results show that the structural design of GISFD is reasonable,which can ensure its safe and stable operation.The influence of different support stiffnesses on the first-order speed of the rotor system is analyzed.Experimental results show that GISFD can effectively suppress the unbalanced response vibration of the rotor.In a certain range,it is found that the suppression effect of GISFD increases with the increase in the kinematic viscosity of the damping fluid.When the silicone oil with kinematic viscosity coefficients v=30.0 cm^(2)/s is employed,the vibration reduction of GISFD is approximately 71.51%.Furthermore,the experimental results show that with the increase of the unbalance,there is a linear relationship between the unbalance and the corresponding amplitude of the unbalanced response.It is concluded that GISFD has excellent linear damping characteristics and reduces the sensitivity of the rotor system to the unbalanced mass. 展开更多

Sr-doped Ba_(0.7)La_(0.3)TiO_(3)(BSLTO)thin films are deposited by pulsed laser deposition,and their microstructure,conductivity,carrier transport mechanism,and ferroelectricity are systematically investigated.The x-ray diffraction measurements demonstrate that Sr-doping reduces the lattice constant of BSLTO thin films,resulting in the enhanced phonon energy in the films as evidenced by the Raman measurements.Resistivity-temperature and Hall effect measurements demonstrate that Sr can gradually reduce electrical resistivity while the electron concentration remains almost unchanged at high temperatures.For the films with semiconducting behavior,the charge transport model transforms from variable range hopping to small polaron hopping as the measurement temperature increases.The metalic conductive behaviors in the films with Sr=0.30,0.40 conform to thermal phonon scattering mode.The difference in charge transport behavior dependent on the A-site cation doping,is clarified.It is revealed that the increasing of phonon energy by Sr doping is responsible for lower activation energy of small polaron hopping,higher carrier mobility,and lower electrical resistivity.Interestingly,the piezoelectric force microscopy(PFM)results demonstrate that all the BSLTO films can exhibit ferroelectricity,especially for the room temperature metallic conduction film with Sr=0.40.These results imply that Sr-doping could be a potential way to explore ferroelectric metal materials for other perovskite oxides. 展开更多

In comparison to widely adopted bulk heterojunction(BHJ)structures for organic solar cells(OSC),exploiting the sequential deposition to form planar heterojunction(PHJ)structures enables to realize the favorable vertical phase separation to facilitate charge extraction and reduce charge recombination in OSCs.However,effective tunings on the power conversion efficiency(PCE)in PHJ-OSCs are still restrained by the currently available methods.Based on a polymeric donor PBDBT-2 F(PBDBT=Poly[[4,8-bis[5-(2-ethylhexyl)-4-fluoro-2-thienyl]benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b′]dithiophene-2,6-diyl]-2,5-thiophenediyl[5,7-bis(2-ethylhexyl)-4,8-dioxo-4 H,8 H-benzo[1,2-c:4,5-c′]dithiophene-1,3-diyl]-2,5-thiophenediyl])and a non-fullerene(NF)acceptor Y6,we proposed a strategy to improve the properties of photovoltaic performances in PHJ-based OSCs through dilute dispersions of the PBDBT-2 F donor into the acceptor-dominant phase with the sequential film deposition.With the control of donor dispersions,the charge transport balance in the PHJ-OSCs is improved,leading to the expedited photocarrier sweep-out with reduced bimolecular charge recombination.As a result,a PCE of 15.4%is achieved in the PHJ-OSCs.Importantly,the PHJ solar cells with donor dispersions exhibit better thermal stability than corresponding BHJ devices,which is related to the better film morphology robustness and less affected charge sweep-out during the thermal aging. 展开更多

The heterogeneous integration of III-V devices with Si-CMOS on a common Si platform has shown great promise in the new generations of electrical and optical systems for novel applications,such as HEMT or LED with integrated control circuitry.For heterogeneous integration,direct wafer bonding(DWB)techniques can overcome the materials and thermal mismatch issues by directly bonding dissimilar materials systems and device structures together.In addition,DWB can perform at wafer-level,which eases the requirements for integration alignment and increases the scalability for volume production.In this paper,a brief review of the different bonding technologies is discussed.After that,three main DWB techniques of single-,double-and multi-bonding are presented with the demonstrations of various heterogeneous integration applications.Meanwhile,the integration challenges,such as micro-defects,surface roughness and bonding yield are discussed in detail. 展开更多

A new type of film cooling hole with micro groove structure is presented in this paper.Based on the finite volume method and the Realizable k-εmodel,the film cooling process of the hole in a flat plate structure is simulated.The surface temperature distribution and film cooling effect of different film cooling holes were analyzed.The effects of micro-groove structure on wall attachment and cooling efficiency of jet were discussed.The results show that under the same conditions,the transverse coverage width and overall protective area of the new micro-groove holes are larger than those of the ordinary cylindrical holes and special-shaped holes.Compared with ordinary holes,the new micro-groove holes can better form the film covering on the surface and enhance the overall film cooling efficiency of the wall.For example,when the blowing ratio M=1.5,the effective coverage ratio of micro-groove holes is 1.5 times the dustpan holes and is 8 times the traditional cylindrical holes.It provides reference data and experience rules for the optimization and selection of advanced cooling structure of high performance aero-gas engine hot-end components. 展开更多

氨挥发排放是稻田系统氮损失的主要途径.现有技术多以调控氮肥施用为削减氨挥发排放的技术手段;但由于氮肥投入基数较大且减投不能改变氨挥发途径氮损失比例,氮肥减投后的氨挥发排放仍是限制氮肥利用效率提升的瓶颈.对此,本研究选用满... 氨挥发排放是稻田系统氮损失的主要途径.现有技术多以调控氮肥施用为削减氨挥发排放的技术手段;但由于氮肥投入基数较大且减投不能改变氨挥发途径氮损失比例,氮肥减投后的氨挥发排放仍是限制氮肥利用效率提升的瓶颈.对此,本研究选用满足环境友好和使用便捷的农业废弃物粉末和两性分子物质作为膜材料,配合氮肥施用在田面水表进行多次铺洒,研究膜材料对氨挥发排放过程及排放总量的影响,结合作物生长和氮去向探索膜材料对氨挥发排放的影响机制.连续2 a小区试验发现,膜材料使用可减少水稻种植期氨挥发排放总量的19%~31%,由此减少的氮损失或以矿质态氮形态贮存于土壤或提高了作物氮吸收量.施氮条件下,田面水铵态氮含量和pH以及膜材料使用是影响氨挥发排放的主控因子;氮肥减投后,膜材料使用可进一步削减氨挥发排放.基于不同膜材料对氨挥发排放影响机制差异,应用时,可根据实际生产需求对膜材料进行按需选择. 展开更多
