Ti3C2Tx nanosheet,the first synthesized MXene with high capacity performance and charge/discharge rate,has attracted increasingly attention in renewable energy storage applications.By performing systematic density functional theory calculations,the theoretical capacity of the intrinsic structure of single-and multi-layered Ti3C2T2(T=F or O)corresponding to M(M=Li and Na)atoms are investigated.Theoretical volumetric capacity and gravimetric capacity are obtained,which are related to the stacking degree.The optimal ratios of capacity to structure are determined under different stacking degrees for understanding the influence of surface functional groups on energy storage performance.Its performance can be tuned by performing surface modification and increasing the interlayer distance.In addition,the reason for theoretical capacity differences of M atoms is analyzed,which is attributed to difference in interaction between the M-ions and substrate and the difference in electrostatic exclusion between adsorbed M-ions.These results provide an insight into the understanding of the method of efficiently increasing the energy storage performance,which will be useful for designing and using high performance electrode materials. 展开更多

Supercapacitors have attracted much attention in the field of electrochemical energy storage.However,material preparation,stability,performance as well as power density limit their applications in many fields.Herein,a sponge-like red phosphorus@graphene(rP@rGO)negative electrode and a Ni2P positive electrode were prepared using a simple one-step method.Both electrodes showed excellent performances(294 F g^−1 and 1526.6 F g^−1 for rP@rGO and Ni2P,respectively),which seem to be the highest among all rP@rGO-and Ni2P-based electrodes reported so far.The asymmetric solid-state supercapacitor was assembled by sandwiching a gel electrolyte-soaked cellulose paper between rP@rGO and Ni2P as the negative and positive electrodes.Compared to other asymmetric devices,the device,which attained a high operating window of up to 1.6 V,showed high energy and power density values of 41.66 and 1200 W kg−1,respectively.It also has an excellent cyclic stability up to 88%after various consecutive charge/discharge tests.Additionally,the device could power commercial light emitting diodes and fans for 30 s.So,the ease of the synthesis method and excellent performance of the prepared electrode materials mat have significant potential for energy storage applications. 展开更多

A Perimidin Derivative with Multiple Redox Centers as an Anode for Lithium-ion Batteries 预览

Organic molecules are attractive electrode materials for rechargeable batteries owing to their sustainability, low cost, and light weight. In this work, we report a new organic anode, a perimidin derivative 1,3,5-tri(1 H-perimidin-2-yl)-benzene(TPB), for lithium-ion batteries. The TPB structure contains multiple redox centers including π-conjugated benzene ring, C=N, and-NH groups and delivers a high reversible specific capacity of 300 mAh/g at 50 mA/g under a six-electron redox reaction. Moreover, TPB exhibits excellent rate capability and long-term cyclability with 98.1% capacity retention over 1500 cycles at 1000 mA/g. The results may open new opportunities for the development of low-cost and long-lifespan lithium-ion batteries. 展开更多

In this study,we prepared Ti/IrO2–ZrO2 electrodes with different ZrO2 contents using zirconium-n-butoxide(C16H36O4Zr)and chloroiridic acid(H2IrCl6)via a sol–gel route.To explore the effect of ZrO2 content on the surface properties and electrochemical behavior of electrodes,we performed physical characterizations and electrochemical measurements.The obtained results revealed that the binary oxide coating was composed of rutile IrO2,amorphous ZrO2,and an IrO2–ZrO2 solid solution.The IrO2–ZrO2 binary oxide coatings exhibited cracked structures with flat regions.A slight incorporation of ZrO2 promoted the crystallization of the active component IrO2.However,the crystallization of IrO2 was hindered when the added ZrO2 content was greater than 30at%.The appropriate incorporation of ZrO2 enhanced the electrocatalytic performance of the pure IrO2 coating.The Ti/70at%IrO2–30at%ZrO2 electrode,with its large active surface area,improved electrocatalytic activity,long service lifetime,and especially,lower cost,is the most effective for promoting oxygen evolution in sulfuric acid solution. 展开更多

Lithium(Li)metal anode has received extensive attentions due to its ultrahigh theoretical capacity and the most negative electrode potential.However,dendrite growth severely impedes the practical applications of the Li metal anode in rechargeable batteries.In this contribution,a mesoporous graphene with a high specifi c surface area was synthesized to host the Li metal anode.The mesoporous graphene host(MGH)has a high specifi c surface area(2090 m 2/g),which aff ords free space and an interconnected conductive pathway for Li plating and stripping,thus alleviating the volume variation and reducing the generation of dead Li during repeated cycles.More importantly,the high specifi c surface area of MGH effi ciently reduces the local current density of the electrode,which favors a uniform Li nucleation and plating behavior,rendering a dendritefree deposition morphology at a low overpotential.These factors synergistically boost the Li utilization(90.1%vs.70.1%for Cu foil)and life span(150 cycles vs.100 cycles for Cu foil)with a low polarization of MGH electrode at an ultrahigh current of 15.0 mA/cm 2.The as-prepared MGH can provide fresh insights into the electrode design of the Li metal anode operating at high rates. 展开更多

For addressing the critical problems in current collectors in the aluminium batteries,a variety of carbonbased current collectors,including carbon fiber textiles and three-dimensional(3D)biomass-derivative carbon(BDC)networks,are employed for serving as lightweight non-metal current collectors.The results indicate that all the carbon-based current collectors have electrochemical stability in the acidic electrolyte environments.In the assembled aluminium batteries with all-carbon positive electrodes,thermal annealing process on the carbon-based current collectors has substantially promoted the entire electrochemical energy storage performance.Additionally,both the structure configuration and chemical components of the current collectors have also great impact on the rate capability and cycling stability,implying that the 3D BDC networks are more favorable to offer promoted energy storage capability.Implication of the results from suggests that the carbon-based current collectors and all-carbon positive electrodes are able to deliver more advantages in energy storage behaviors in comparison with the traditional positive electrodes with metal Mo current collectors.Such novel strategy promises a new route for fabricating highperformance positive electrodes for stable advanced aluminium batteries. 展开更多

In this contribution,inspired by the excellent resource management and material transport function of leaf veins,the electrical transport function of metallized leaf veins is mimicked from the material transport function of the vein networks.By electroless copper plating on real leaf vein networks with copper thickness of only several hundred nanometre up to several micrometre,certain leaf veins can be converted to transparent conductive electrodes with an ultralow sheet resistance 100 times lower than that of state-of-the-art indium tin oxide thin films,combined with a broadband optical transmission of above 80%in the UV–VIS–IR range.Additionally,the resource efficiency of the vein-like electrode is characterized by the small amount of material needed to build up the networks and the low copper consumption during metallization.In particular,the high current density transport capability of the electrode of>6000 A cm^−2 was demonstrated.These superior properties of the vein-like structures inspire the design of high-performance transparent conductive electrodes without using critical materials and may significantly reduce the Ag consumption down to<10%of the current level for mass production of solar cells and will contribute greatly to the electrode for high power density concentrator solar cells,high power density Li-ion batteries,and supercapacitors. 展开更多

A novel sensor for ocean electric field testing has been fabricated by polyacrylonitrile-based on carbon fibers with electro-chemical oxidation.The surface profile characteristics of the carbon fibers were characterized by scanning electron microscope,Fourier transform infrared spectra and contact angle.Cyclic voltammetry and Tafel curves have been used to study its electro-chemical performances.Two identical electrodes in sea water as the electric field sensor will swiftly respond to applied electric field which causes positive and negative ions to move in opposite direction,resulting in a electric potential difference(ΔE).Test result indicates that the offset potential is typically below 1 m V with a drift of 60-170μVd^-1.Typical self noise level is 1.07 nV√Hz~(1/2)@1 Hz.The electric field response indicates that the modified electrode pair shows better response to AC sine signal of amplitude and frequency(5 mV and 1 mHz)respectively than its blank.The electric field response model of the modified electrodes is creatively presented according to its electric double layer capacitance and Faraday pseudo-capacitance.Many advantages of the carbon fiber electric field electrode will make it have potential application prospect. 展开更多

在农业工程领域,微细通道散热技术在农产品培育系统、农业机械、农产品干燥系统中有着广泛的应用。通过施加电场可强化微细通道换热系统的传热效率,为探究电场对微细通道内制冷剂流动沸腾阻力的影响,该文采用了2种电极布置方式(针状和线... 在农业工程领域,微细通道散热技术在农产品培育系统、农业机械、农产品干燥系统中有着广泛的应用。通过施加电场可强化微细通道换热系统的传热效率,为探究电场对微细通道内制冷剂流动沸腾阻力的影响,该文采用了2种电极布置方式(针状和线状),以制冷剂R141b为试验工质,在系统压力为140k Pa,工质入口温度32.5℃、质量流率277.35~531.75 kg/(m~2·s)、热流密度7.50~21.49 kW/m~2、电压0~850 V工况下,在截面尺寸为2 mm×2 mm的矩形微细通道内进行流动沸腾试验,探究直流电场对微细通道内R141b流动沸腾压降特性影响。研究结果表明:在本文试验工况下,电场会增大微细通道内的摩擦压降,针状与线状电极电场作用下的微细通道内摩擦压降分量在总压降中所占比例均比无电极作用下的更大;电场作用下单位长度两相摩擦压降随电压、热流密度的增大而增大,针状电极与线状电极电场作用下平均单位长度两相摩擦压降分别比无电极作用下增加0.7%~15.4%和1.3%~18.7%;电压为0~250 V时,针状电极对压降的影响效果大于线状电极,电压大于400 V后,线状电极对压降的影响效果更为显著。通过COMSOL软件对6 mm长微细通道内2种电场的分布进行了模拟,模拟结果表明相同电压作用下,针状电极产生的电场强度最大值超过线性电极,但线状电极的电场有效作用范围超过针状电极。该文研究结果可为通过施加电场提高微细通道换热器的性能实现微细通道高效节能提供新思路。 展开更多

Fabrication of novel electrode architectures with nanostructured ultrathin catalyst layers is an effective strategy to improve catalyst utilization and enhance mass transport for polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs).Herein,we report the design and construction of a nanostructured ultrathin catalyst layer with ordered Pt nanotube arrays,which were obtained by a hard-template strategy based on ZnO,via hydrothermal synthesis and magnetron sputtering for PEMFC application.Because of the crystallographically preferential growth of Pt (111) facets,which was attributed to the structural effects of ZnO nanoarrays on the Pt nanotubes,the catalyst layers exhibit obviously higher electrochemical activity with remarkable enhancement of specific activity and mass transport compared with the state-of-the-art randomly distributed Pt/C catalyst layer.The PEMFC fabricated with the as-prepared catalyst layer composed of optimized Pt nanotubes with an average diameter of 90(±10) nm shows excellent performance with a peak power density of 6.0W/mgPt at 1 A/cm^2,which is 11.6%greater than that of the conventional Pt/C electrode. 展开更多

Chloramphenicol(CAP)is an antifungal agent approved for use in aquarium.However,CAP residue im­parts serious adverse effect on human health as well as the ecology.Thus,keeping track of CAP in aquatic products and its environmental metabolites are of great importance.Herein,we developed a novel and neat electrochemical aptasensor for the detection of simulated CAP residual in a sandwich fashion.The screen-printed carbon electrode was employed as the sensing platform and electrodeposited with peculiar nanogolds to enhance the electrochemical performance.For the specific recognition of such small target,a pair of chloramphenicol-binding aptamers,the pri­mary Aptl and the secondary Apt2,were tailored as an artificial single-chained antibody couple,of which the thi-olated Aptl stood on the coated working substrate to capture the analyte,while the biotinylated Apt2 rallied the signal output.In the presence of CAP,Aptl at the lower place cooperated with the upper Apt2 pinched CAP together.After that,the reporter avidin-conjugated horseradish peroxidase associated atop the mounted biotin labels,resulting in an electrocatalytic amplification.In whole,this modular biosensing construction would set a paradigm not just for prac­ticable checkpoint quarantine or point-of-care testing,but potentially adaptable for technological fusion with“Inter­net Plus”and“Internet of Things”. 展开更多

A simple and feasible potentiometric immunosensing platform based on enzymatic biocatalytic precipitation technique was designed for the sensitive detection of thyroid-stimulating hormone(TSH;a typical kind of biomarkers for thyroid carcinoma),using horseradish peroxidase(HRP)-loaded liposome for the signal amplification.To construct such an assay system,a sandwich-type immunoreaction was readily carried out on monoclonal anti-TSH capture antibody-coated electrode by using polyclonal antiTSH secondary antibody-conjugated HRP-loaded liposome.Accompanying the formation of sandwichtype immunocomplex,the carried liposome was lysed through the added Triton X-100 to release the entrapped HRP molecules,which catalyzed the oxidation of 4-chloro-1-naphthol to produce an insoluble and uncharged organic precipitation on the electrode surface,thereby causing the change of the local electrical potential.Two labeling protocols with and without the liposome were investigated for detection of target TSH,improved analytical features were achieved with HRP-entrapped liposome.Under optimal conditions,the potentiometric immunosensor had good responses for TSH detection within the linear range of 0.01-30 p IU/mL at a detection limit of 0.0067 p IU/mL.Good reproducibility,high specificity and long-time stability were acquired during the assay procedure.Importantly,a wellmatched accuracy between the potentiometric immunosensor and commercial human TSH ELISA kit was gave for the analysis of human serum samples. 展开更多

In this study,we successfully synthesized double perovskite-type oxide NdBa0.5Ca0.5Co1.5Fe0.5O5+δ(NBCCF)using a conventional wet chemical method as the oxygen electrode for reversible solid oxide electrochemical cells(RSOCs).The polarization resistance(Rp)of the composite electrode NBCCFGd0.1Ce0.9O2(GDC)is only 0.079Ωcm^2 at 800℃under air.The single cell based on NBCCF-GDC electrode displays a peak power density of 0.941 W/cm^2 in fuel cell mode and a low Rp value of 0.134Ωcm^2.In electrolysis cell mode,the cell displays an outstanding oxygen evolution reaction(OER)activity and shows current density as high as 0.92 A/cm^2 with 50 vol%AH(Absolute Humidity)at 800℃and applied voltage of 1.3 V.Most importantly,the cell exhibits admirable durability of 60 h both in electrolysis mode and fuel cell mode with distinguished reversibility.All these results suggest that NBCCF is a promising candidate electrode for RSOC. 展开更多

Ultrafast-charging energy storage devices are attractive for powering personal electronics and electric vehicles.Most ultrafast-charging devices are made of carbonaceous materials such as chemically converted graphene and carbon nanotubes.Yet,their relatively low electrical conductivity may restrict their performance at ultrahigh charging rate.Here,we report the fabrication of a porous titanium nitride(TiN)paper as an alternative electrode material for ultrafast-charging devices.The TiN paper shows an excellent conductivity of 3.67×104 S m-1,which is considerably higher than most carbon-based electrodes.The paper-like structure also contains a combination of large pores between interconnected nanobelts and mesopores within the nanobelts.This unique electrode enables fast charging by simultaneously providing efficient ion diffusion and electron transport.The supercapacitors(SCs) made of TiN paper enable charging/discharging at an ultrahigh scan rate of 100 V s-1 in a wide voltage window of 1.5 V in Na2 SO4 neutral electrolyte.It has an outstanding response time with a characteristic time constant of 4 ms.Significantly,the TiN paper-based SCs also show zero capacitance loss after 200,000 cycles,which is much better than the stability performance reported for other metal nitride SCs.Furthermore,the device shows great promise in scalability.The filtration method enables good control of the thickness and mass loading of TiN electrodes and devices. 展开更多
