目前,将莲子从莲蓬中剥离出来,都是采用手工完成,效率非常低。为此,设计了一种莲子剥蓬机,加工效率高,极大地减轻了劳动强度。由于莲子本身比莲蓬的蜂窝状结构更硬,在将莲蓬的蜂窝状结构破碎的同时,莲子本身并不会损伤,利用莲子和莲蓬... 目前,将莲子从莲蓬中剥离出来,都是采用手工完成,效率非常低。为此,设计了一种莲子剥蓬机,加工效率高,极大地减轻了劳动强度。由于莲子本身比莲蓬的蜂窝状结构更硬,在将莲蓬的蜂窝状结构破碎的同时,莲子本身并不会损伤,利用莲子和莲蓬的结实度有很大差异这个特点,使用钢丝轮将莲蓬先破碎,再将破碎的莲蓬与莲子通过带齿滚轮进行分离,从而达到剥蓬的目的。试验结果表明:该机作业性能稳定,剥蓬率、损伤率和生产率平均值分别为100%、2.59%和109.02kg/h,满足农艺要求,适用于莲蓬的机械化作业。 展开更多

针对水稻局部少耕、旱种水管技术提出的碎土质量好、耕层深、耕作带底部平整度高,以及适时调整排肥量的要求,设计了一款立式水稻条耕施肥机。该机主要由条耕和电动排肥装置组成,采用相似设计原理,建立旋刀几何参数关系;利用图解法推导... 针对水稻局部少耕、旱种水管技术提出的碎土质量好、耕层深、耕作带底部平整度高,以及适时调整排肥量的要求,设计了一款立式水稻条耕施肥机。该机主要由条耕和电动排肥装置组成,采用相似设计原理,建立旋刀几何参数关系;利用图解法推导出正切面刃角、侧切面刃角与行走速度、刀具转速、旋刀旋转半径之间的关系式,并得出该机作业过程中侧切面刃角为24°和正切面刃角为41°;按照农艺要求,确定电机的转速为50~60r/min之间可调。水稻条耕施肥机田间试验表明:该机耕层深,碎土能力强,沟底平整度较好,作业顺畅、性能稳定,匹配动力为66~92kW,耕深平均值15 cm,稳定系数90%土壤颗粒小于8cm的碎土率为85.2%,施肥量稳定性变异系数1.23%,施肥均匀性变异系数17.05%,满足行业标准规定和农艺要求。该研究为下一步水稻条耕施肥播种一体机的研发和水稻局部少耕、旱种水管技术大面积的应用与推广提供了理论依据和技术参考。 展开更多

The use of asbestos material is being avoided to manufacture the brake pads as it is harmful and toxic in nature. Further it leads to various health issues like asbestosis, mesothelioma and lung cancers. These brake pads can be replaced by natural fibers like Palm kernel (0-50%), Nile roses (0-15%) and Wheat (0-10%) with additives like aluminum oxide (5%-20%) and graphite powder (10%-35%). Phenolic resin of 35% is utilized as a binder. Particulated Nile roses are used to increase the friction coefficient and wheat powder is used to reduce the wear rate. Aluminum oxide and graphite are abrasive in nature. This helps to make brake pads with high friction co-efficient and less wear rate with low noise pollution. The wear of the proposed composites have been investigated at different speeds. Various tests like wear on pin-ondisc apparatus, hardness on the Rockwell hardness apparatus and oil absorption test have been conducted. Phenolic resin produces good bonding nature to fiber. Thus, Fibers found to have performed palatably among all commercial brake pads. The objective of the research indicates that Palm kernal shell could be a conceivable alternative for asbestos in friction coating materials. 展开更多

Stress has been suggested to disturb the 5-hydroxytryptamine system and decrease neurogenesis, which contribute to the development of depression. Few studies have investigated the effect of predator stress, a type of psychological stress, on depression and hippocampal neurogenesis in adult mice; we therefore investigated this in the present study. A total of 35 adult male Kunming mice were allocated to a cat stress group, cat odor stress group, cat stress + fluoxetine group, cat odor stress + fluoxetine group, or a control group (no stress/treatment). After 12 days of cat stress or cat odor stress, behavioral correlates of depression were measured using the open field test, elevated plus maze test, and dark-avoidance test. The concentrations of hippocampal 5-hydroxytryptamine and 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid were measured using high-performance liquid chromatography-electrochemical detection. Neurogenesis was also analyzed using a bromodeoxyuridine and doublecortin double-immunostaining method. Cat stress and cat odor stress induced depression-like behaviors; this effect was stronger in the cat stress model. Furthermore, compared with the control group, cat stress mice exhibited lower 5-hydroxytryptamine concentrations, higher 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid concentrations, and significantly fewer bromodeoxyuridine+/doublecortin+-labeled cells in the dentate gyrus, which was indicative of less neurogenesis. The changes observed in the cat stress group were not seen in the cat stress + fluoxetine group, which suggests that the effects of predator stress on depression and neurogenesis were reversed by fluoxetine. Taken together, our results indicate that depression-like behaviors induced by predator stress are associated with the inhibition of hippocampal neurogenesis. 展开更多

A new discrete Fourier transform randomness test

The randomness of random number generators(RNGs)is important for the reliability of cryptographic systems since the outputs of RNGs are usually utilized to construct cryptographic parameters.Statistical tests are employed to evaluate the randomness of the RNG outputs.The discrete Fourier transform(DFT)test is an important test item of the most popular statistical test suite NIST SP800-22.In the standard NIST DFT test and related improved studies,there exist accuracy and efficiency issues.First,the bit sequences generated by known good RNGs have a high probability to be rejected when the sequences are long or the sequence number is large,due to the deviation between the actual distribution of the test statistic values and the assumed normal distribution.Second,the long test time and high memory consumptions of the complex DFT test algorithm also affect its practicability.To solve these problems,we propose a new DFT test method for long sequences(10^6 or more bits).Different from the previous DFT test methods focusing on making the distribution of the test statistic values closer to the normal distribution,we reconstruct the statistic to follow the chi-square distribution.Our experiment result shows that our method has higher reliability in the two-level test,and could effectively reduce the test time and the memory consumptions.When applying our method on randomness test,the test efficiency has been increased to about 4 times for 106-bit sequences and 7 times for 10^7-bit sequences.In conclusion,our method has lower probability of making errors,and is more suitable for practical application scenarios. 展开更多

The undrained shear strength of shallow strata is a critical parameter for safety design in deep-water operations.In situ piezocone penetration tests(CPTU) and laboratory experiments are performed at Site W18-19 in the Shenhu area, northern South China Sea, where China’s first marine hydrate exploitation operation is due to be located. The validation of the undrained shear strength prediction model based on CPTU parameters. Different laboratory tests, including pocket penetrometer, torvane, miniature vane and unconsolidated undrained triaxial tests, are employed to solve empirical cone coefficients by statistical and mathematical methods. Finally, an optimized model is proposed to describe the longitudinal distribution of undrained shear strength in calcareous clay strata in the Shenhu area. Research results reveal that average empirical cone coefficients based on total cone resistance, effective resistance, and excess-pore pressure are 13.8, 4.2 and 14.4, respectively. The undrained shear strength prediction model shows a good fit with the laboratory results only within specific intervals based on their compaction degree and gas-bearing conditions. The optimized prediction model in piecewise function format can be used to describe the longitudinal distribution of the undrained shear strength for calcareous clay within all depth intervals from the mud-line to the upper boundary of hydrate-bearing sediments(HBS). The optimized prediction result indicates that the effective cone resistance model is suitable for very soft to firm calcareous clays,the excess-pore pressure model can depict the undrained shear strength for firm to very stiff but gas-free clays,while the total cone resistance model is advantageous for evaluating the undrained shear strength for very stiff and gassy clays. The optimized model in piecewise function format can considerably improve the adaptability of empirical models for calcareous clay in the Shenhu area. Automatic test report augmentation to assist crowdsourced testing

In crowdsourced mobile application testing, workers are often inexperienced in and unfamiliar with software testing. Meanwhile, workers edit test reports in descriptive natural language on mobile devices. Thus, these test reports generally lack important details and challenge developers in understanding the bugs. To improve the quality of inspected test reports, we issue a new problem of test report augmentation by leveraging the additional useful information contained in duplicate test reports. In this paper, we propose a new framework named test report augmentation framework (TRAF) towards resolving the problem. First, natural language processing (NLP) techniques are adopted to preprocess the crowdsourced test reports. Then, three strategies are proposed to augment the environments, inputs, and descriptions of the inspected test reports, respectively. Finally, we visualize the augmented test reports to help developers distinguish the added information. To evaluate TRAF, we conduct experiments over five industrial datasets with 757 crowdsourced test reports. Experimental results show that TRAF can recommend relevant inputs to augment the inspected test reports with 98.49% in terms of NDCG and 88.65% in terms of precision on average, and identify valuable sentences from the descriptions of duplicates to augment the inspected test reports with 83.58% in terms of precision, 77.76% in terms of recall, and 78.72% in terms of F-measure on average. Meanwhile, empirical evaluation also demonstrates that augmented test reports can help developers understand and fix bugs better. 展开更多

The mutagenicity of the protein-modified Enterococcus faecalis was evaluated by a mouse bone marrow micronucleus test and a mouse sperm abnormality test.The test substance was designed with three dose groups (1,2 and 5 g/kg·bw) and intragastrically administrated,with cyclophosphamide as a positive control and normal saline as a normal control.The micronucleus rate and sperm abnormality rate were measured.The results showed that the micronucleus rates and sperm abnormality rates in the different dose groups were not significantly different from those in normal control group ( P >0.05),while the positive control group was significantly higher than the normal control group ( P <0.01).The conclusion is that the protein-modified E.faecalis was tested to be negative in both the mouse bone marrow micronucleus test and mouse sperm abnormality test,suggesting that it has no mutagenicity in vivo. 展开更多

High-risk symptoms and quantitative faecal immunochemical test accuracy: Systematic review and meta-analysis 预览

BACKGROUND The quantitative faecal immunochemical test for haemoglobin (FIT) has been revealed to be highly accurate for colorectal cancer (CRC) detection not only in a screening setting, but also in the assessment of patients presenting lower bowel symptoms. Therefore, the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence has recommended the adoption of FIT in primary care to guide referral for suspected CRC in low-risk symptomatic patients using a 10 μg Hb/g faeces threshold. Nevertheless, it is unknown whether FIT′s accuracy remains stable throughout the broad spectrum of possible symptoms. AIM To perform a systematic review and meta-analysis to assess FIT accuracy for CRC detection in different clinical settings. METHODS A systematic literature search was performed using MEDLINE and EMBASE databases from inception to May 2018 to conduct a meta-analysis of prospective studies including symptomatic patients that evaluated the diagnostic accuracy of quantitative FIT for CRC detection. Studies were classified on the basis of brand, threshold of faecal haemoglobin concentration for a positive test result, percentage of reported symptoms (solely symptomatic, mixed cohorts) and CRC prevalence (< 2.5%,≥ 2.5%) to limit heterogeneity and perform subgroup analysis to assess the influence of clinical spectrum on FIT′s accuracy to detect CRC. RESULTS Fifteen cohorts including 13073 patients (CRC prevalence 0.4% to 16.8%) were identified. Pooled estimates of sensitivity for studies using OC-Sensor at 10 μg Hb/g faeces threshold (n = 10400) was 89.6%[95% confidence interval (CI): 82.7% to 94.0%). However, pooled estimates of sensitivity for studies formed solely by symptomatic patients (n = 4035) and mixed cohorts (n = 6365) were 94.1%(95%CI: 90.0% to 96.6%) and 85.5%(95%CI: 76.5% to 91.4%) respectively (P < 0.01), while there were no statistically significant differences between pooled sensitivity of studies with CRC prevalence < 2.5%(84.9%, 95%CI: 73.4% to 92.0%) and ≥ 2.5%(91.7%, 95%CI: 83.3% to 96.1%)(P = 0.25 展开更多

A new test system has been designed and is under construction at the institute of modern physics.For this test system, multiple conditioning modes, including the pulse mode, CW mode, and amplitude-sweeping mode, have been embedded in the low-level radio frequency system of the test stand. All of these conditioning modes can be run manually or automatically. Objective: To assess the genotoxicity and embryotoxicity of bicyclol methyl ether(BME), the main impurity in bicyclol. Methods: Five concentrations of BME(0.5, 5, 50, 500 and 5000 μg/plate) were used in the Ames test to detect gene mutation. In the chromosome aberration test, Chinese hamster lung cells were used to detect chromosomal aberration of BME(15, 30, 60, 120 μg/m L) with or without S9 mixture. Embryotoxicity test was also conducted to determine any embryotoxicity of BME(7.5, 22.5, 67.5 μg/L) using zebrafish embryos. Results: No significant differences were observed in the Ames test and the chromosome aberration test in the BME groups compared with the vehicle control group. The zebrafish embryos toxicity test also showed no embryo development toxicity of BME, including hatching rate, body length, pericardial area and yolk sac area. Conclusions: Bicyclol methyl ether has no genotoxicity in vitro and embryotoxicity in zebrafish embryos, and the impurity in bicyclol is qualified. 展开更多

Depression is a chronic,recurring and potentially life threatening illness and affects up to 20%of the world population and in the year 2020,depression will become the second most common disease in the world.To find the remedy from nutraceuticals,the present study was designed to evaluate the antidepressant activity of stearic acid(SA)and to quantify its maximum content in different dayold wheat seedlings and wheat grains.Forced swimming test(FST)and tail suspension test(TST)were done to evaluate the antidepressant activity of SA.HPTLC fingerprinting of SA was done in different days(3,5 and 7 d)of wheat seedlings and wheat grains to quantify its maximum content.In the antidepressant study,when compared with the control(326.67±3.02 s),SA showed potential antidepressant activity in TST(131.67±2.60 s)and SA also showed very good antidepressant activity in FST(124.83±5.37 s)when compared with the control(215.83±6.64 s).In HPTLC fingerprinting,the maximum content of SA was identified in 3-d-old wheat seedlings(89.43μg)when compared to wheat grains(84.69μg),5-d-old(86.43μg)and 7-d-old(85.32μg)wheat seedlings.Hence,the present study concludes that SA has a potential antidepressant activity and 3-d-old wheat seedlings are the essential sources of SA among the different dayold wheat seedlings. 展开更多

Traditionally medicinal plants are used for its potential chemotherapeutic action and for safety upon the continued use of these plants.Achillea millefolium(AM)is an ancient herb which is used to treat wounds,headaches,disorder in gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary,pain,and inflammation.This study was aimed to investigate the biochemical parameter of antimutagenic methanolic extract for AM in vivo.Plant extract together with MTX decreased the damage caused by the drug on the concentrations of total cholesterol and triglycerides(160.3±2.26 and 108.7±2.71),significant increase in total protein concentration(8.51±0.17,9.46±0.19 and 10.8±2.71 g\dL)for 100 and 200 mg\kg was observed.Also plant extracts counteract the damage caused by drug through the reduction for both creatinin and albumin concentrations to 1.57±0.03 mg\dL and 4.56±0.09 g\dL,respectively.On enzymatic level,the results of interactions indicated the ability of plant to modulating harmful effects of the drug(57.1±1.3,130±3.1 and 111.1±2.1 U\L)for GOT,GPT and ALP,respectively.On the other hand,the plant possesses the ability to enhance the concentrations of all immunoglobulin(IgM,IgA and IgG)in the two doses tested.Therefore,the results of this study indicate the antimutagenic potential of AM extract and encouraging its consumption with MTX as one of the promising therapies. 展开更多

The ever-increasing complexity of on-chip interconnection poses great challenges for the architecture of conventional system-on-chip(SoC)in semiconductor industry.The rapid development of process technology enables the creation of stacked 3-dimensional(3D)SoC by means of through-silicon-via(TSV).Stacked 3D SoC testing consists of two major issues,test architecture optimization and test scheduling.This paper proposed game theory based optimization of test scheduling and test architecture to achieve win-win result as well as individual rationality for each player in a game.Game theory helps to achieve equilibrium between two correlated sides to find an optimal solution.Experimental results on handcrafted 3D SoCs built from ITC'2 benchmarks demonstrate that the proposed approach achieves comparable or better test times at negligible computing time. 展开更多
