A dendrite-free Li plating host towards high utilization of Li metal anode in Li–O2 battery

The intense interest of Li–O2 battery stems from its ultrahigh theoretical energy density, but its application is still hindered by the issues of Li anode. Herein, RuO2-CNTs composite, a conventional O2 cathode catalyst in Li–O2 battery, is first utilized as an anode host for dendrite-free Li plating/stripping with high Coulombic efficiency. It is demonstrated that such excellent plating/stripping performance arises from the lithiophilicity characteristic of Ru nanoparticles(that is derived from the in-situ electrochemical conversion from RuO2 to Ru/Li2O) and buffer space provided by CNTs. Furthermore, the RuO2-CNTs electrode pre-deposited with limited Li(RuO2-CNTs@Li anode) is coupled with a RuO2-CNTs catalytic cathode to form a Li–O2 full cell, which displays an extended cycle life with dramatically improved energy density.The achieved cell shows a high stability of 200 cycles with RuO2-CNTs@Li anode(1 mg Li) that sheds light on the efficient utilization of Li anode in Li–O2 batteries. 展开更多

本文使用密度泛函理论中的广义梯度近似对扩展三明治结构graphene-2Li-graphene的几何结构、电子性质和储氢性能进行计算研究.计算得知:位于单层石墨烯中六元环面心位上方的单个Li原子与基底之间的结合能最大(1.19 eV),但小于固体Li的... 本文使用密度泛函理论中的广义梯度近似对扩展三明治结构graphene-2Li-graphene的几何结构、电子性质和储氢性能进行计算研究.计算得知:位于单层石墨烯中六元环面心位上方的单个Li原子与基底之间的结合能最大(1.19 eV),但小于固体Li的实验内聚能(1.63 eV),然而,在双层石墨烯之间的单个Li原子与基底的结合能增加到3.41 eV,远大于固体Li的实验内聚能,因此位于双层石墨烯之间的多个Li原子不会成簇,有利于进一步储氢.扩展三明治结构graphene-2Li-graphene中每个Li原子最多可以吸附3个H2分子,储氢密度高达10.20 wt.%,超过美国能源部制定的5.5 wt.%的目标.该体系对1—3个H2分子的平均吸附能分别为0.37,0.17和0.12 eV,介于物理吸附和化学吸附(0.1—0.8 eV)之间,因此该体系可以实现常温常压下对H2的可逆吸附.通过对态密度分析可知,每个Li原子主要通过电场极化作用吸附多个H2分子.动力学和巨配分函数计算表明graphene-2Li-graphene结构对H2分子具有良好的可逆吸附性能.该研究可以为开发良好的储氢材料提供一个好的研究思路,为实验工作提供理论依据. 展开更多

Lithium metal, the ideal anode material for next-generation high-energy batteries, suffers from the severe safety problem of Li dendrites. Herein, we report a simple approach to effectively maintain the morphology of Li-metal anode and enhance the cycling performance of Li batteries by surface coating of a porous polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) thin film. In symmetrical cells testing, the cells with the Li@PVDF electrode display stable cycling performance more than 1300 h (650 cycles) at the current density of 0.5 mA/cm2 with a stripping/plating capacity of 0.5 mAh/cm2. The results with full cells employing Li@PVDF anode and LiFePO4 cathode show a good cycling ability with a capacity retention of 80.0% after 500 cycles at 4 C and an excellent rate capability with a high capacity of 78.4 mAh/g even at a high rate of 10 C. 展开更多

From 1644 to 2003,many Chinese historians and novelists debated the existence and the identity of a provincial graduate from Qi county in Henan province who reportedly helped the commoner rebel Li Zicheng overthrow the Ming polity(1368—1644)only to be suspected of disloyalty and killed by the rebel leader,thus clearing the way for the Qing that ruled China from 1644 to 1911.In 2004 there was discovered a genealogical manuscript that goes far towards solving the Li Yan puzzle and allows us to see how rumors were incorporated into histories and literary works that appealed to a wide variety of people over the course of three and a half centuries.In this essay,I compare and contrast the emerging mythistorical figure of Li Yan with other scholar-rebel-advisors in Chinese and world history and suggest that he was most akin to the Lord Chancellor Thomas More in sixteenth-century England who spoke truth to power and was celebrated in twentieth-century history and 1让erature. 展开更多

目的分析多烯酸乙酯胶丸对腔隙性脑梗死(LI)伴血脂异常的疗效。方法将78例LI患者随机分为A组(39例,常规治疗)与B组(39例,加用多烯酸乙酯胶丸治疗),两组治疗15 d。比较两组治疗前后脑血流速度、脂代谢、氧化应激损伤指标、神经功能变化... 目的分析多烯酸乙酯胶丸对腔隙性脑梗死(LI)伴血脂异常的疗效。方法将78例LI患者随机分为A组(39例,常规治疗)与B组(39例,加用多烯酸乙酯胶丸治疗),两组治疗15 d。比较两组治疗前后脑血流速度、脂代谢、氧化应激损伤指标、神经功能变化及不良反应。结果治疗后,两组基底动脉(BA)、大脑中动脉(MCA)、大脑前动脉(ACA)收缩期最大血流速度均增加,血清TC、TG、LDL-C、MDA、Nrf-2水平均下降,而HDL-C、ApoA1、GSH-Px、SOD水平均增加,且B组的改善幅度均大于A组(P<0.05);治疗后1 w、2 w、1个月,两组NIHSS评分均降低,且B组均低于A组(P<0.05)。两组不良反应发生率比较无统计学差异(P>0.05)。结论在常规治疗的基础上,加用多烯酸乙酯胶丸治疗LI合并血脂异常,可较好改善患者脑血流指标和血脂水平,降低氧化应激水平及神经功能损伤,且治疗安全可靠。 展开更多

Carbon layers with microporous structures fine-modulated by naphthalene (NAP) were prepared to coat on LiFePO4, aiming to enhance the Li+ diffusion coefficient for Li-ion batteries. Characterized by BET, XRD, TEM, EIS, etc., it is indicated that in the presence of NAP, the carbon-coated LiFePO4/C-NAP composites have the enlarged micropore size of 1.66 nm and the enhanced Li+ diffusion coefficient of 2.83 × 10^12 cm^2 s^-1, which is about five times higher than that of LiFePO4/C prepared in the absence of NAP. At a high rate of 20 C, the discharge capacity of the LiFePO4/C-NAP is up to 120.1 mA h g^-1 and maintains a good retention rate of 93.2% after 400 cycles. It is suggested that the NAP-modulated car-bon coating is a promising route to accelerate the Li-ion diffusion rate and enhance the electrochemical performance for lithium ion batteries. 展开更多

The metallic lithium(Li)is considered as the most promising anode material for high-e nergy batteries.Nevertheless,the uncon trollable growth of Li den drite and un stable electrolyte/electrode in terface still hin der the developme nt of Li-based battery.In this work,a no vel strategy has been proposed to stabilize Li anode by in-situ polymerizing polypyrrole(PPy)layer on Ni foam(PPy@Ni foam)as an artificial protective layer.The PPy protective layer can effectively decrease the contact between Li metal and electrolyte during cycling.In addition,the morphology characterization shows that the PPy layer can help the even Li deposition undemeath the layer,leading to a dendrite-free Li anode.As a result,when deposited 2 mAh-cm-2 Li metal,the PPy@Ni foam can keep stable Coulombic efficiency(99%)during nearly 250 cycles,much better than the pure Ni foam(100 cycles).Even in the case of the Li capacity of 10 mAh-cm-2,the stable cycling performance for 60 cycles can still be achieved.Furthermore,when assembled with LiFePO4 material as the cathode for a full cell,the PPy@Ni foam can keep high capacity retention of 85.5%at 500 cycles.In our work,we provide a simple and effective method to enhanee the electrochemical performances of Li metal-based batteries,and reveal a new avenue to design three-dimensional(3D)metallic curre nt collector for protecting the Li metal ano de. 展开更多

Lithium-sulfur (Li-S) battery as one of the most attractive candidates for energy storage systems has attracted extensive interests.Herein,for the first time,hierarchical flower-like cobalt phosphosulfide architectures (defined as "CoSP") derived from Prussian blue analogue (PBA) was fabricated through the conversion of Co-based PBA in PxSy atmosphere.The as-prepared polar CoSP could effectively trap polysulfides through the formation of strong chemical bonds.In addition,after the combination of CoSP with high conductive rGO,the obtained CoSP/rGO as sulfur host material exhibits ultralow capacity decay rate of 0.046% per cycle over 900 cycles at a current density of 1 C.The excellent performance could be attributed to the shortened lithium diffusion pathways,fastened electron transport ability during polysulfide conversion,and increased much more anchor active sites to polysulfides,which is expected to be a promising material for Li-S batteries.It is believed that the as-prepared CoSP/rGO architectures will shed light on the development of novel promising materials for Li-S batteries with high cycle stability. 展开更多

中华经典国际关系概念研究:指向、起点和路径
