Since most parameter control methods are based on prior knowledge, it is difficult for them to solve various problems. In this paper, an adaptive selection method used for operators and parameters is proposed and named double adaptive selection (DAS) strategy. Firstly, some experiments about the operator search ability are given and the performance of operators with different donate vectors is analyzed. Then, DAS is presented by inducing the upper confidence bound strategy, which chooses suitable combination of operators and donates sets to optimize solutions without prior knowledge. Finally, the DAS is used under the framework of the multi-objective evolutionary algorithm based on decomposition, and the multi-objective evolutionary algorithm based on DAS (MOEA/D-DAS) is compared to state-of-the-art MOEAs. Simulation results validate that the MOEA/D-DAS could select the suitable combination of operators and donate sets to optimize problems and the proposed algorithm has better convergence and distribution. 展开更多

This paper addresses the fixed-time adaptive model reference sliding mode control for an air-to-ground missile associated with large speed ranges, mismatched disturbances and un-modeled dynamics. Firstly, a sliding mode surface is developed by the tracking error of the state equation and the model reference state equation with respect to the air-to-ground missile. More specifically,a novel fixed-time adaptive reaching law is presented. Subsequently, the mismatched disturbances and the un-modeled dynamics are treated as the model errors of the state equation. These model errors are estimated by means of a fixed-time disturbance observer, and they are also utilized to compensate the proposed controller. Therefore, the fixed-time controller is obtained by an adaptive reaching law and a fixed-time disturbance observer. Closed-loop stability of the proposed controller is established. Finally, simulation results including Monte Carlo simulations, nonlinear six-DegreeOf-Freedom(6-DOF) simulations and different ranges are presented to demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed control scheme. 展开更多

This paper is devoted to adaptive attitude tracking control for rigid spacecraft in the presence of parametric uncertainties, actuator faults and external disturbance. Specifically, a dynamic model is established based on one-tank spacecraft, which explicitly takes into account changing Center of Mass(CM). Then, a control scheme is proposed to achieve attitude tracking.Benefiting from explicitly considering the changing CM during the controller design process, the proposed scheme possesses good robustness to parametric uncertainties with less fuel consumption.Moreover, a fault-tolerant control algorithm is proposed to accommodate actuator faults with no need of knowing the actuators’ fault information. Lyapunov-based analysis is provided and the closed-loop system stability is rigorously proved. Finally, numerical simulations are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed controllers. 展开更多

Adjusting the transmission parameters when the channel environment changes during the communication can guarantee the performance index of the system,and therefore improve communication efficiency. An adaptive transmission scheme of transceiver based on Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems(CCSDS)protocols is proposed in this paper. According to the variation of the deep space channel,the symbol rate of transmission data is adjusted dynamically by estimating the signal- to- noise ratio (SNR) of the receiver in real time and adjusting the channel environment. This scheme can improve the channel utilization and system throughput under the premise of limiting the system bit error rate. This paper proposes a novel adaptive sliding mode control(SMC) method for synchronization of non-identical fractional-order(FO) chaotic and hyper-chaotic systems. Under the existence of system uncertainties and external disturbances,finite-time synchronization between two FO chaotic and hyperchaotic systems is achieved by introducing a novel adaptive sliding mode controller(ASMC). Here in this paper, a fractional sliding surface is proposed. A stability criterion for FO nonlinear dynamic systems is introduced. Sufficient conditions to guarantee stable synchronization are given in the sense of the Lyapunov stability theorem. To tackle the uncertainties and external disturbances, appropriate adaptation laws are introduced. Particle swarm optimization(PSO) is used for estimating the controller parameters. Finally, finite-time synchronization of the FO chaotic and hyper-chaotic systems is applied to secure communication. 展开更多

Postcorrections to dualcomb... Resolution and bandwidth are critical for cavity-enhanced dual-comb spectroscopy(CE-DCS). Here, we pioneer an adaptive approach in CE-DCS to improve the broadband as well as the resolution. Postcorrections to dualcomb interferograms adaptively compensate the relative phase jitters of the optical frequency combs and result in both a mode-resolved spectral resolution and a signal-to-noise ratio of 440:1 in 1 s. Meanwhile, an adaptive combcavity locking scheme exploits more than 90% of the comb modes, covering 340 cm-1(10 THz) at 6450 cm-1. For a single dual-comb interferogram, more than 40,000 comb teeth spaced by 250 MHz are measured in less than7.5 ms, contributing to a noise equivalent absorption per spectral element of 2 × 10-10 cm-1·Hz-1∕2. This adaptive cavity-enhanced dual-comb spectroscopy technique provides an attractive spectroscopic tool that may be utilized in trace-gas sensing, breath and cancer analysis, and engine combustion diagnosis. 展开更多

The upscaling method must preserve ... Upscaling of primary geological models with huge cells, especially in porous media, is the first step in fluid flow simulation. Numerical methods are often used to solve the models. The upscaling method must preserve the important properties of the spatial distribution of the reservoir properties. An grid upscaling method based on adaptive bandwidth in kernel function is proposed according to the spatial distribution of property. This type of upscaling reduces the number of cells, while preserves the main heterogeneity features of the original fine model. The key point of the paper is upscaling two reservoir properties simultaneously. For each reservoir feature, the amount of bandwidth or optimal threshold is calculated and the results of the upscaling are obtained. Then two approaches are used to upscaling two properties simultaneously based on maximum bandwidth and minimum bandwidth. In fact, we now have a finalized upscaled model for both reservoir properties for each approach in which not only the number of their cells, but also the locations of the cells are equal. The upscaling error of the minimum bandwidth approach is less than that of the maximum bandwidth approach. 展开更多

In this paper, the adaptive event-based control approach is applied to study leader-following consensus of multi-agent systems with linear dynamic models. Adaptive event-based controller and triggering function for each agent are designed, where the adaptive function is only dependent on its own event time instants. A sufficient condition on consensus is proposed, which shows that the adaptive event-based method presented in this paper not only can reduce the communication among neighboring agents, but also can determine the event time instants for each agent without using the global information. Furthermore, the Zeno-behavior for the concerned closed-loop system is excluded. Finally, an example is presented to ilhistratc the effectiveness of the obtained theoretical results. 展开更多

Variable selection has played an important role in statistical learning and scientific discoveries during the past ten years, and multiple testing is a fundamental problem in statistical inference and also has wide applications in many scientific fields. Significant advances have been achieved in both areas. This study attempts to find a connection between the adaptive LASSO(least absolute shrinkage and selection operator) and multiple testing procedures in linear regression models. We also propose procedures based on multiple testing methods to select variables and control the selection error rate, i.e., the false discovery rate. Simulation studies demonstrate that the proposed methods show good performance relative to controlling the selection error rate under a wide range of settings. 展开更多

Based on free space laser communication, this article describes the working principle of electro-optical frequency shifting, designs an optical adaptive filtering module, and builds the core module of the dynamic optical Doppler shifting simulator for laser channel. It is expected to be applied to the heaven-ground integrated communication link. In this article, we adopt the electro-optical frequency shifting technique combined with the microwave-light wave. In the 1 550 nm band, the negative feedback algorithm is used to complete the adaptive filtering, which realizes optical Doppler frequency shifting and high-precision locking. The frequency shift range reaches +5.5-+32 GHz, and the analog precision is better than 645 Hz. When the microwave frequency is greater than 13.5 GHz, the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) of the output optical power reaches 20 d B, which lays the foundation for the next stage space laser communication. 展开更多

Plug-and-play technology is an important direction for future development of spacecraft and how to design controllers with less communication burden and satisfactory performance is of great importance for plug-and-play spacecraft. Considering attitude tracking of such spacecraft with unknown inertial parameters and unknown disturbances, an event-triggered adaptive backstepping controller is designed in this paper. Particularly, a switching threshold strategy is employed to design the event-triggering mechanism. By introducing a new linear time-varying model, a smooth function, an integrable auxiliary signal and a bound estimation approach, the impacts of the network-induced error and the disturbances are effectively compensated for and Zeno phenomenon is successfully avoided. It is shown that all signals of the closed-loop system are globally uniformly bounded and both the attitude tracking error and the angular velocity tracking error converge to zero. Compared with conventional control schemes, the proposed scheme significantly reduces the communication burden while providing stable and accurate response for attitude maneuvers. Simulation results are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme. 展开更多
