In this article, we first survey recent progress towards Grauert-Riemenschneider type criteria. Secondly, we give a simplified proof of Boucksom's conjecture given by the author under the assumption that the Hermitian metric ω satisfies ■■ω^l=for all l, i.e., if T is a closed positive current on X such that ∫X Tcn/^n>0, then the class {T} is big and X is K?hler. Finally, as an easy observation, we point out that Nguyen's result can be generalized as follows:if ■■ω=0, and T is a closed positive current with analytic singularities, such that ∫X Tcn/^n>0, then the class {T} is big and X is Kahler. 展开更多

Thermodynamics and weak cosmic censorship conjecture of BTZ black holes in extended phase space

As a charged fermion drops into a BTZ black hole, the laws of thermodynamics and the weak cosmic censorship conjecture are investigated in both the normal and extended phase space, where the cosmological parameter and renormalization length are regarded as extensive quantities. In the normal phase space, the first and second law of thermodynamics, and the weak cosmic censorship are found to be valid. In the extended phase space, although the first law and weak cosmic censorship conjecture remain valid, the second law is dependent on the variation of the renormalization energy dK. Moreover, in the extended phase space, the configurations of extremal and near-extremal black holes are not changed, as they are stable, while in the normal phase space, the extremal and near-extremal black holes evolve into non-extremal black holes. 展开更多

The Erd?s-Sós Conjecture states that every graph on n vertices and more than n(k-2)/2 edges contains every tree of order k as a subgraph. In this note, we study a weak(bipartite)version of Erd?s-Sós Conjecture. Based on a basic lemma, we show that every bipartite graph on n vertices and more than n(k-2)/2 edges contains the following families of trees of order k:(1) trees of diameter at most five;(2) trees with maximum degree at least [k-1/2];(3) almost balanced trees, these results are better than the corresponding known results for the general version of the Erd?s-Sós Conjecture. 展开更多

We introduce a conjecture that we call the Two Hyperplane Conjecture, saying that an isoperimetric surface that divides a convex body in half by volume is trapped between parallel hyperplanes. The conjecture is motivated by an approach we propose to the Hots Spots Conjecture of J. Rauch using deformation and Lipschitz bounds for level sets of eigenfunctions. We will relate this approach to quantitative connectivity properties of level sets of solutions to elliptic variational problems, including isoperimetric inequalities, Poincar′e inequalities, Harnack inequalities, and NTA(non-tangentially accessibility). This paper mostly asks questions rather than answering them, while recasting known results in a new light. Its main theme is that the level sets of least energy solutions to scalar variational problems should be as simple as possible. 展开更多

Considering the cosmological constant as the pressure,this study addresses the laws of thermodynamics and weak cosmic censorship conjecture in the Reissner-Nordstrom-AdS black hole surrounded by quintessence dark energy under charged Particle absorption.The first law of thermodynamics i5 found to be valid as a Particle is absorbed by the black hole.The second law,however,is violated for the extremal and near-extremal black holes,because the entropy of these black hole decrease.Moreover,we find that the extremal black hole does not change its configuration in the extended phase space,implying that the weak cosmic censorship conjecture is valid.Remarkably,the near-extremal black hole can be overcharged beyond the extremal condition under charged particle absorption.Hence,the cosmic censorship conjecture could be violated for the near-extremal black hole in the extended phase space.For comparison,we also discuss the first law,second law,and the weak cosmic censorship conjecture in normal phase space,and find that all of them are valid in this case. 展开更多

Boolean functions with optimal algebraic immunity (OAI functions)are important cryptographic primitives in the design of stream ciphers.During the past decade,a lot of work has been done on constructing such functions... Boolean functions with optimal algebraic immunity (OAI functions)are important cryptographic primitives in the design of stream ciphers.During the past decade,a lot of work has been done on constructing such functions,among which mathematics,especially finite fields,play an important role.Notably,the approach based on decompositions of additive or multiplicative groups of finite fields turns out to be a very successful one in constructing OAI functions,where some original ideas are contributed by Tu and Deng (2012),Tang,et ai.(2017),and Lou,et al.(2015).Motivated by their pioneering work,the authors and their collaborators have done a series of work,obtaining some more general constructions of OAI functions based on decompositions of finite fields.In this survey article,the authors review our work in this field in the past few years,illustrating the ideas for the step-by-step generalizations of previous constructions and recalling several new observations on a combinatorial conjecture on binary strings known as the Tu-Deng conjecture.In fact,the authors have obtained some variants or more general forms of Tu-Deng conjecture,and the optimal algebraic immunity of certain classes of functions we constructed is based on these conjectures. 展开更多
