Objective To explore the clinical value of continuous nursing intervention in high-risk patients with diabetic foot. Methods This study aimed at 99 cases of high-risk diabetic foot patients admitted to our hospital from September2017 to September 2018. According to the odd and even number method, the patients were divided into observation group and control group. The control group was supplemented by routine nursing intervention, while the observation group was supplemented by continuing nursing intervention. The probability of chapped foot skin and the incidence of infection were compared, and the differences of blood sugar indexes between the groups before and after nursing were analyzed. Results The probability of chapped foot skin and the incidence of infection in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05), and the indexes of fasting blood glucose, 2 h postprandial blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion For high-risk diabetic foot patients, continuous nursing intervention can reduce the probability of chapped foot skin, prevent infection, and help patients to control blood glucose stably, which is worth promoting.
