一种用于电流模Buck变换器的电流采样电路

A Current Sampling Circuit Applied in Current Mode Buck Converter

摘要 提出了一种用于峰值电流模Buck变换器的宽电压范围的高速电流采样电路。利用上功率管的导通电阻Rdson对电感电流信息进行采样,解决了Rdson的PVT参数漂移导致采样增益值不固定的问题。利用上功率管栅源电压检测电路设置屏蔽时间,解决了噪声干扰导致误触发的问题。PWM比较器设置在自举电容两端的浮动电源轨上,PWM比较器的输出可以跳过位移电路直接关闭上功率管,提高了电路的速度。采用0.35μm 60 V BCD工艺对电流采样电路进行了验证。结果表明,在4~42 V的宽输入电压范围内,该电流采样电路能实现对电流信息的高速采样。当电感电流达到峰值后,驱动控制信号在15 ns内完成翻转。 A high speed current sampling circuit that could operate over a wide voltage range was proposed.It was suitable for peak current mode Buck converters.In this scheme,the on-resistance Rdson of the top power transistor was used to sample the inductor current information,which increased the sampling speed.The problem of uncertain sampling gain value due to Rdson’s PVT parameter drift was avoided by setting the mirror MOSFET scheme.False triggering caused by noise interference was avoided by setting the shielding time with the top power transistor’s gate-source voltage detection circuit.In addition,the PWM comparator was set on the floating power rail at both ends of the bootstrap capacitor.The output of the PWM comparator could skip the level shift circuit and turn off the top power transistor directly,which accelerated the system speed.The peak current mode control loop was designed and simulated in a 0.35μm 60 V BCD process to verify the scheme.The simulation results showed that the proposed scheme could achieve high speed sampling of current information in a wide input voltage range of 4~42 V.When the inductor current reached the peak value,the control signal of drive chain flipped within 15 ns.
