The first phase of the Guangzhou International Campus of South China University of Technology is the prefabricated construction project with the largest assembly area in Guangzhou and all of which meet the A-level evaluation criteria. This paper takes the prefabricated building design and the design of its key joints in the S1 block student dormitory building as an example,and elaborates the new integrated prefabricated caisson and prefabricated external wall and its corresponding connection in addition to the conventional prefabricated components.The node makes further explorations and summaries. The analysis shows that the new type of prefabricated caisson can solve the construction problem of caisson installation and support by adopting the force connection of the steel tongue;the various connection methods of the prefabricated external wall can meet the design requirements,and the standardized nodes need to be further optimized. Through the summary of the component split deepening design and node practice of this project,it provides corresponding reference and important reference significance for the subsequent deepening design of the fabricated building.
