Objective The effect of nasal continuous positive airway pressure therapy on patients with severe neonatal disease was observed. Methods 86 cases of severe neonatal pneumonia treated in our hospital from February 2017 to September 2018 were selected as the study subjects. The patients were divided into control group(n=43, oxygen inhalation by head mask or nasal catheter) and even group(n=43, nasal continuous positive airway pressure ventilation). The disappearance time of clinical symptoms and the therapeutic effect of the two groups were observed and compared after recording. Results The clinical indicators, the disappearance time of clinical symptoms and the total effective rate of treatment in the experimental group were better than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05). Conclusion The patients with severe neonatal pneumonia have excellent nasal continuous positive airway pressure therapy. The clinical symptoms of the patients disappear faster and the treatment is more thorough.
