This paper focuses on the concentrations of the fourteen trace elements and the corelations of their contents of soil, parent material and rock as well as the corelations between every two elements in the nine typical soils in Guangdong and Hainan provinces. In the soils, comparing with the trace element contents of normal softs in the world (Andrews-Jones, 1968) the average weight of Pb, As and Hg is high(1.5～5m), and that of Sr and Cd is low (less than 0.1m). On the base of the principal component analysis, the sequence of the elements concentrations of the nine soils is ranged with the index of Mn/Zr, and the sequence of weathering intensity of the soils is also ranged with the index of Mn+Zr. The corelation analysis shows high corelative coefficient on the concentration of trace elements between the various types of soils and their parent materials. No significant corelation of the concentration is found between soil and rock, or parent material and rock with the exception of Co, Pb, Cu, Zr, and Ni contents.
