泛读“i-1假想”在大学英语教学中的应用 预览

Application of "i-1 Hypothesis" in College English Extensive Reading Instruction

摘要 根据Richard Day提出的大学英语泛读课教学"i-1假想",结合我国传统教育思想,从运用机制方面阐述这一假想的理论和实际意义。这一泛读假想的应用将有利于在现代化教学手段中转换教师角色,提高学生的实践量和参与程度,通过在自然学习过程中把语言知识转化为交际能力,培养学生的自主学习能力。 Based upon Richard Day’s "i-1 Hypothesis" in extensive reading,this article analyzes the relationship between the approach and Chinese traditional educational thoughts,and this article also explains the mechanism of the hypothesis and its significance in college English teaching.The application of this hypothesis will change the teacher's role under modern teaching circumstances,enhance students’ practice and participation,and cultivate self-learning capacity by means of the transfer from linguistic knowledge to communicative competence.
