The regular soft-starting method of thyristor voltage controller is hard to gain excellent result in inductor motor which is working in 10 kV system. The stator voltage compensation based on increment of displacement angle and constant current fuzzy starting control rules were provided. The over-current and oscillation of current during soft-starting of three-phase high-power induction motor were eliminated. The high frequency current source was used to trigger thyristors, so that isolation triggering between high-voltage and lowvoltage was solved. The novel soft-starter achieves satisfactory application in 10 kV counter-rotating fan.
